June 2011 ~ Father

Hello again! *wave* I decided to blog the June challenge quickly!!

For June 2011 project (it can be a layout or other) challenge:
Theme: Father (can be your father or the father of your child).
Embellishments: include at least 2 or 3 recycle items (beautiful packaging, used wrapping gifts, tags, etc but please not leftover scrapbooking items).
Picture: a picture of you & your dad together or a picture of your husband with your child.
Lastly, include a simple journal.

1ST FSFS' ANNIVERSARY!!!

Hello everyone. Hope you all fine :)

I'm so excited that our 1st FSFS' Anniversary is just around the corner. Let me brief you with the history of FSFS. It was happened when I was so bored that I decided to do an online cropping with my scrapper buddies, Renee & Masjuana. So the group already formed on 22nd March 2010. From there, Renee & I were trying to find a name & a motto for our small group which gradually growing until now (currently there are about 17 members including myself). I don't know how I came up with the name, From Scrappers For Scrappers, it sounds just right, even Renee like it :) then she said 'One Creation At A Time' when I asked her about creating this blog! That's officially become the motto of our group.

Without wasting anymore time, I introduce you another Friendly Singaporean Scrapper, OUR 1ST ANNIVERSARY GUEST DESIGNER TEAM~

Hi my name is Edleen. I'm from Singapore, a Wife and Umie to 4 Wonderful kids. I began scrapbooking in 2005 and I love it and still continuing as this hobby has brought me Friendships and wonderful opportunities as a Designer and Teacher.

I am Inspired by things around me and I love photography too and my shots are often of the Clouds in the Sky. Nature is simply breathtaking. But my children are my Number One Inspiration. Their smiles, laughter and sometimes tantrum, those captured moments are truly moments that I'd be inspired to scrapbook about!

Thank you Maya for having me as your Guest Designer on your 1st Anniversary! What an honor and I hope you all will be Inspired with the challenge and certainly looking forward to seeing your creations.

I myself, honestly in love with all these layouts. You just need to add photos! Journal it if you want. It all yours!!

Third online crop.

Our third online crop was taken on 25th March 2010, but due to some reasons, I wasn't able to meet the dateline which Renee set it 24 hours later.... I only finished the layout a day after hehehe... Sorry Renee!!

Our combined ideas this time were; handmade embellishments (Dolly Yong), a song which can be the title or lyrics (Renee) & picture/s of family (by me).

What made me late to submit this layout was I was torn between 2 songs!! Ouch!! I was in between of Jason Mraz' I'm yours or Whitney Houston's Greatest Love.. After much discussion with my DH (yes, I always refer to my dear hubby, hehehe he's 1 of my 'advisor'), I finally settled down with Greatest Love. It was because my handmade embellishment was a big heart shape & cut-outs heart shapes PP!! Hehehe... I also managed to twist the craft wire into the word Greatest.. :s it really hard! I used my bare hand to twist the wire... I wished I had plier that time.. which in the end I bought a set of pliers! :D
